| Summary/Abstract |
Buddhist iconography holds a unique position in the spiritual and cultural life and traditions of the Tibetan people. Its study is one of the best ways of understanding Buddhist narrative. The subject is discussed in a seminar by the following: Dr. P Bannerjee, Dr. L Chandra, Kalon Tashi Wangdu, Basant Sidu, Dr. R. C Sharma, Dr. K. T Biswas, Dr. Kapila Vatsayayan, Prof. S Rinpoche and others. The seminar was inaugurated by Mr. P. K Thungon, then the Indian Dy. Education Minister.
