Summary / Abstaract (Note)This program is set on one who has been greatly concerned with universal responsibility and non-violent means, His Holiness the Dalai Lama of the Tibet, on the twenty five years of his life in exile. The film looks at his personal and public life documenting his 1984 visit to Great Britain and a period spent at his home in the Himalaya foothills of Northern India. This film examines the effect that he has on general people and his non-violent means to regain independence. This documentary traces the historical credentials of Tibet and how the nation was in decline under the Chinese regime. It contains rare historical footage of sacred rituals and recently compiled material shot in Tibet and India. In between are interviews offered by Dalai lama from time to time.
