Summary / Abstaract (Note)This program is on Nobel Peace Prize being conferred to H. H the Dalai Lama of Tibet. This is as recognition of his work and quest for non-violent solutions to human problems in personal, environmental and the political areas. This program includes two major addresses given by the Dalai Lama in Oslo, Norway and statement by the Nobel Committee on the presentation of the award. These talks detail the constructive and forward looking proposals for solving international conflicts, human rights issues, and global environmental problems. It also includes a succinct statement of his personal and political philosophy; these addresses show the great depth, warmth and humor of the Dalai lama as a person and statesman.
